ECL was selected to provide end-to-end consultancy services for the design and supervision of the state-of-the-art Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI) Building Complex in Lusaka. 

Funded by the World Bank, the project is a landmark initiative aimed at strengthening Zambia’s public health infrastructure. The facility is envisioned to serve as the national hub for disease surveillance, research, emergency preparedness, and health system coordination.

ECL’s scope of work includes:

• Architectural, Structural, MEP design of the entire complex
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents and procurement support
• Supervision and contract management during the construction phase
• Environmental and social safeguards compliance

With its multidisciplinary expertise and regional project experience, ECL ensured the delivery of a modern, functional, and future-ready facility aligned with the Ministry of Health’s strategic vision and global public health goals.
