Epilepsy Unit of the National Hospital, Colombo include facilities to house high end medical equipment such as MRI Scanner, PET/CT Scanners, SPECT Scanner and angiography equipment together with many other lower end biomedical equipment. Hospital has facilities for outdoor patient medical care as well as paying and non-paying indoor patient wards, intensive care units, pediatric care units and long term monitoring units, sleep labs etc. together with facilities for medical staff of all grades that operate these units.

ECL provided detailed architectural designs, structural designs and prepared the BOQ and tender documents for the building and the procurement of high end and lower end biomedical equipment and furniture, and assisted the Client during tendering and negotiations. ECL’s scope also included contract administration and post contract supervision.
