Reconstruction and relocation of atomic energy board head office building institute due to New Bridge Construction Project Over Kelani River

The project was to relocate the head office building of the Atomic Energy Board and the project include administration facilities as well as laboratory and testing facilities in both non-radioactive and radioactive materials. These laboratories function under the General Scientific Division (GSD), Radiation Protection Services Division, Industrial Applications Division (IAD), Life Science Division (LSD) and International Cooperation Division.

ECL handled the full spectrum of Consultancy Services including assessing time scale and financial limits; site investigations; obtain necessary statutory requirements; prepare outline proposals with approximate construction cost; preliminary and detailed architectural and structural designs, design of water supply/sewerage, specific electrical and air-conditioning facilities; prepare construction documents, total cost estimate (FTCE); prepare bidding documents and assisting the client during tender and negotiation; project management and construction supervision;  identify laboratory equipment, relocation and calibration, demolishing of existing buildings, etc.

The entire complex has been designed to comply with Green Platinum Rating and we handle the Green certification process for the entire project.
